Terry Gibson is the Lead Pastor at New Hope Methodist Church in Newmarket, where he has been serving for 25 years. Terry is a graduate of Spring Arbor University and Asbury Theological Seminary. Terry has served in pastoral ministry with the Free Methodist Church in Canada throughout his ministry years; Kamloops B.C., Belleville ON, Etobi

Terry has served in pastoral ministry with the Free Methodist Church in Canada throughout his ministry years; Kamloops B.C., Belleville ON, Etobicoke ON, Val Caron ON and Newmarket ON, where he currently resides with his wife, Cindy.
Terry and Cindy have two children who are both married to wonderful spouses, who love and serve Jesus. To Terry and Cindy’s utter delight, their current favourite title is “Papa and Grandma”, and they thoroughly enjoy their five grandchildren.
Terry is currently on a 3-month sabbatical returning April 1, 2023.

Organizational skills acquired while running her own small business, raising a family, and volunteering with the church and community have made Julie adept at managing the office to keep New Hope organized and running smoothly.
